caring for you!
Hi, I’m Jacqueline Gilcrease.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have a master's degree in Counseling Psychology. My approach with therapy is eclectic and I aim to adjust it based on the needs or preferences of my clients.
Currently, all talk therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth through video-call. Click the button to access availability for therapy sessions.
talk therapy
I have experience providing services to children, adolescents and adults, and including a variety of issues, some including: anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief & loss, stress, career and relationship issues.
My approach in therapy is a combination of theories and techniques from several approaches, some of those being CBT, trauma-centered, solution-focused, EMDR, and person-centered theory. One of my hopes is to find the strengths and abilities that are empowering to my client—that bring life and balance—and incorporate them into therapy, ensuring a balance that is sustainable and life-giving.

Being creative is not limited to the categories within an art college or degree. Creativity is an integral part of any person’s well-being and balance in life, whether that be visual arts, culinary, fashion, dance, theatre. Being a parent and finding activities for the littles, problem solving when finding the answer feels impossible, improving relationships and even finding a way to get through tough times in life. Figuring out how to move forward and how to feel whole again.
At Creative Care, we are hopeful to equip our clients with skills and direction in whatever creativity speaks to them. Our community has many talented and artistic minds that are gifted in sharing and teaching these skills - stay tuned!
